My work is concerned with all formal aspects of landscape, as well as the hidden structures in the anatomy of the land, and the way it has been shaped and moulded by elemental forces as well as by man over millennia. I cut out and polish eye-catching beach pebbles or build up pictures using microscopic images of rock with different collage materials. Recently, I have become fascinated by the historical aspects of the Cornish tin mining industry and its impact on the coastal landscape of West Penwith, both above and below ground.

Art Tuition

Caro gained her MA in Fine Art at Falmouth College of Art in 2002. She has exhibited widely and has many years experience of teaching adults in different situations, which has included running courses for prison inmates. This kind of work highlights her interest in the therapeutic aspects of art.

Pottery Bowl

I enjoy the freedom of making hand-formed clay pieces inspired by the pottery of our ancestors. My paintings are often drawn from the manifestations of my inner vision.

Woodwork

As a former Design Engineer working on contracts for companies including Rolls Royce Aero Engines, as well as extensive experience in the building and construction industry, David is used to turning complex ideas on paper into reality using a variety of different materials. He particularly relishes transferring these skills into developing his love of working with wood.

David also designs and makes personalised Bind Rune Charms, which can be worn or carried in a bag or pocket for those wishing to bring positive changes into their lives.
